Sessions
Each session is one conversation with its own history. In Chat, the default list shows recent sessions together. In Code, sessions are grouped by repository. Use search to find a session, and pin the ones you return to often. A working mark means the agent is active; a needs-you mark means it is waiting for input or approval.
Projects
A project collects related sessions, memory, and files. Choose the project before starting work that belongs to it. Keep separate tasks in separate sessions so their decisions and results stay clear. Use the project view to return to its ongoing work.
Routines
Routines are for repeated work. Open Routines to see what is set up in your workspace and review its instructions and schedule before relying on it. The available controls depend on your access.
Find another tool
Open More for tools such as Images, Usage, Skills, Agents, GitHub, Review, Terminal, and Mission Control when your workspace enables them. The sidebar can be customized; a hidden item may still be under More.
Continue a session when you need its earlier context. Start a new one when the goal, repository, or audience changes.
